MISSION

We are the Metropolitan Baptist Church. We strive to make a difference in the world by ministering to the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of those inside and outside the church. We always seek to empower people by helping them to utilize, maximize, and capitalize on their God given gifts and talents. We will create learning environments that embrace teaching, loves knowledge, and is always in the pursuit of wisdom. Our worship experiences will be purposeful and powerful and we will always conduct ourselves with order, excellence and the highest level of ethics, integrity, and conduct that is representative of the God we serve.

Join the Fight to Defeat ALS

IT'S BEEN 19 YEARS!!


Yes, 19 years of winning this battle with ALS and we are not tired! We thank God for each of you for riding along with us on this journey. It has not been easy, but God has always made a way and surrounded us with everyone and everything we have needed. We just want to say thank you to for all your prayers, support, help, making space for us, and most importantly your love. The kindness and encouragement is immeasurable!


I shall never forget those words of 2 to 5 years from the doctor, but by faith and grace we are still thriving, living, laughing, traveling, working, and loving together, and serving in ministry together. This is not the path we would have chosen for our lives, but we trust God and for some reason he trust us. Chanel has changed and impacted so many lives just by her presence and persistence. She gives tremendous hope and that getting back up strength to so many. So once again, we will walk in honor of her and for her. 


We just want to say thank you for just reading this message and prayerfully it encourages your heart. Please join us for this year's walk. There is a new location and it will be held in November. If you are able to give, we would be grateful as your donations support a very expensive and demanding disease. Again, thank you, thank you, thank you, and may God richly bless you and your family really, really, good.
